MEETING DESCRIPTION:

We have the unique privilege of learning about technology trends in the healthcare industry from one of the top IT executives in the Tampa Bay area. Mark Hulse, R.N. is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute here in Tampa, and he will join us to share his insights.

The healthcare industry is facing many new challenges with issues such as electronic medical patient records, computerized physician order entry systems, medical testing and imaging, and a host of additional demands upon their technology environments. What lessons have they learned, and how can we apply that knowledge into our own organizations? How have the new regulatory requirements in healthcare shaped their requirements for continuous uptime and recovery strategies?
